Americans keep hoping for the mid-terms - 7+ months away. However, evidence mounts that the 2024 election was manipulated, and civil liberties and the rule of law have been all but decimated by the Republican Regime. So much more damage to democracy can take place, unchecked by Congress, the Senate or the Supreme Court minions. How can anyone reasonably hope that the mid-term elections will be free and fair?
My question is will and how will Trump prevent a free election? ICE at polling stations, preventing married woman from voting due to name change, create a false reason martial law etc.
Napoleon fought too many wars on too many fronts. The capacity to keep focused on all these fronts did not exist. NAPOLEON lost his empire. Donald Trump is in risk of the same fate.
I think a better comparison is the Russia campaign by Napoleon. By attacking Iran, Trump has bitten off much more than he can stomach. There is a no military solution for reaching an end of the war. To control the straight of Hormuz, a land invasion will be required. The US, let alone Israel, do not have the resources (or allies) to do this. The only way out is a humiliating retreat and Iran is already making the retreat as costly and painful as possible.
And just like Napoleon, this Iran adventure will not be the end of presidency. He will just be enormously weakened.
And then when Israel realizes that Trump is of no use to them anymore, will they release whatever they had on Trump s leverage?
